This Professional Print Target allows the user to visually calibrate the scanner resonse to the dye set of the photographic products being used and to establich baseline scanner settings for all originals on the particular family of photographic materials. The target design provides uniform mapping in the CIELAB color space and is defined in detail in ANSI standard IT8.7/2 for reflection materials. It is based upon a similar concept and contains 144 colors arranged at twelve hue angle, three lightness levels, and four chroma values. A additional 120 patches provide one, two and three colors scales to fully define the available color gamut.
